This is the second of Spaceship Brain Productions ensemble cast improv mockumentaries. Egocentric John and good-hearted but clueless Kevin partner up to start an internet start up called Hot or Not Hot.com. Financially backed by the mysterious and jailed Michael Massa, the boys open offices in downtown Philadelphia, In hopes of competing with the well known website Hot or Not.com. Armed with a staff of capable web design talent like Samantha, Jim, Frank, and Charles, John ignores them and instead relies on the odd Blue Demon, a recently promoted mail boy turned Blue Demon protégé named Stevie, and his alcoholic womanizing best friend Drew. The site starts to unravel when Kevin is fired, and starts his own company to compete with John. The staff splits and a clever game of manipulation plays out as everyone comes out a big loser.

A young but hopeless Michael Hall is fired from his job, by his own father-in-law! Embarrassed and ashamed, he decides not to go home to his wife, only to have a chance meeting with an eccentric middle-aged hustler named Gray. Gray’s lifestyle and Hall’s need for a more exciting life sets them both on a collision course with high stress and gunplay. Hilarity ensues…well, sort of.

Plot: An improv mockumentary relying heavily on interviews with the cast, and scenes with a strong physical comedy element. The film is about a group of guys working at a Hollywood Video store. A small faction consisting of the delusional but dedicated John, his confused, space cadet assistant Kevin, and all around nice guy Benny decides to move on from their low paying ,thankless, but never dull jobs, but not without incident.

Spaceship Brain Anthology

Run time: roughly eighty minutes

Plot: A collection of Spaceship Brain’s earliest works, which are mostly self-indulgent, poorly produced short films staring company creators Kevin Kiernan and John Philapavage doing predominantly improv skits. Highlights include cult classics “Kitty of Death” and “Jimmy Balls Dating Service”. Very few copies have been made, but a few are still floating around the Lehigh Valley.

Jen Jackson's Apartment

A coroner arrives at the scene of a young woman's suicide. As he goes about his duties he begins to recognize the young victim as a high school classmate. This revelation launches him on a series of increasingly obsessive and introverted meditations on his formative years. The story comes to a head as the ill effects of lonely obsession play out.
